Independence Day

This picture was taken eight years ago today:

My career (otherwise known as Nancy’s Independence) started on July 4th 2005.

Since then I’ve enjoyed:

• Countless Holidays
• Immeasurable quantities of new shoes
• Opportunities to briefly live in both India and Australia (I know, right?)
• Unforgettable new friends
• “The Volcano”
• Being referred to as the girl with the “flippy hair” (see above)
• Endless trips to Starbucks

What more could a girl want? Such a Lucky Nancy – here’s to the next 8 and counting 🙂

  1. where in india did you live? were going to jaipur for a wedding in january and i’m terrified of what my body will prove it’s capable of while we’re there. im a sick kid.

    • I lived in Bangalore but traveled around quite a bit – including Jaipur :). Beautiful and intriguing city – and too close to Agra to not see the Taj, just go.

My stomach was mostly fine – but is stock up on Imodium – more than happy to give you more info if you need it!!

  2. Kat

Your hair reminds me of a punkier, cooler version of Drew Barrymore’s in the Wedding Singer. When do you get to take a new photo?
